Newark, NJ, Nov. 5, 2025 – A class action lawsuit has been filed against A.D.S. Environmental, Inc. (“ADS”) and two of its principals, Paula Mininni and David Mininni, on behalf of two New Jersey homeowners and all similarly situated current and former ADS clients.
ADS is a New Jersey corporation that performs oil tank removals and soil remediation across New Jersey. The lawsuit alleges that the defendants caused thousands of homeowners to be charged excessive fees for work done by ADS through billing practices alleged to be in violation of New Jersey’s Consumer Fraud Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq.), the Truth-In-Consumer Contract, Warranty, and Notice Act (N.J.S.A. 56:12-14 et seq.), DEP regulatory law (N.J.A.C. 7:14B-16.10(b)), and other laws.
The proposed class includes New Jersey customers who hired ADS for oil tank removal and/or soil remediation services within six years of the filing of the Complaint.
According to Jesse C. Morris, Esq. of the firm Morris Law, located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, “Our Complaint alleges that ADS used deceptively written proposals with surprise charges and hidden fees. Although they state an apparent contract price in large, bold text, customers receive invoices that exceed it by as much as thousands of dollars—sometimes double or triple the proposal amount. Our Complaint alleges that ADS’s charges were inflated through hidden contract terms, deceptive language, and fine print.”
